Welcome to Slipstream, a browser-based multiplayer light-cycle game operated by the Creative Vision Development team. By accessing or using Slipstream, including by logging in with a Discord account, creating or joining a lobby, or otherwise interacting with the game in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. Your continued use of Slipstream following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 12 years of age to use Slipstream. By creating an account or logging in, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement.
If you are between 12 and 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We reserve the right to terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a user who does not meet the eligibility requirements, without prior notice.
Slipstream uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. When you log in, Discord shares certain profile information with us, including your Discord username, user ID, and avatar. We do not store your Discord password, and we do not access, read, or send Discord messages on your behalf.
Your Slipstream account is tied to your Discord account. You are responsible for:

You agree to use Slipstream only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Acceptable use includes:
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without warning:
All game content, including but not limited to artwork, code, arena designs, sound effects, UI elements, and the Slipstream name and logo; is the exclusive property of the Creative Vision Development Team and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only. You may not:
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us about the game may be used freely by us without compensation or attribution to you.
We respect your privacy. This section summarizes what data we collect and how we use it. By using Slipstream, you consent to this data collection.

All data is stored in our Supabase database. We take reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the address listed in Section 12. We will remove your personal information within 30 days of a verified request.
Slipstream is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury; arising from your use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Slipstream shall not exceed $0, as the Service is provided entirely free of charge.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Slipstream; including features, game modes, arenas, or the entire platform at any time with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may also introduce updates that change how the game works, including balance changes, new features, or removal of existing features. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to Slipstream at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
You may stop using Slipstream at any time. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us per Section 12.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you; such as by posting a notice on the game's home screen or through an in-game announcement, or thru our discord server.
Your continued use of Slipstream after a change to these Terms is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
